I Heart Faces-Motherhood

This week's theme over at I Heart Faces is Motherhood. I've been looking through my photos for a good example of Motherhood but I don't have too many pictures with me in them (ok close to none) and my mom usually shy's away from photos too. Then I remembered this photo I took just the other day. Noah was laying down drinking his milk and Tristan scooted up next to him to hold his bottle for him. So sweet. Moments like those are what makes Motherhood so special.

Two Boys and a Box

This weekend we got out the boxes of Tristan's old summer clothes to see what Noah could use this summer. Forget buying the boys expensive birthday presents-they are in LOVE with boxes. They spent an hour playing with this large box. Talk about simple fun.

The Children's Museum

One of Tristan's favorite places to visit is the Children's museum. There is so much to see and do. When you first walk in there is a firetruck, I mean a REAL firetruck. Now if that is cool...
There is fishing,
a whole room of train tracks and trains,
a worm tunnel to crawl through (Noah isn't so sure what he things about the flash on the camera).
cute girls to meet,
puzzles,
huge teddy bears to snuggle with,
and bridges to cross.
(not to mention a bubble room, dress-up area, an art studio, and a workshop for building recycled airplanes.)

Simple Things-Tinkertoys

Do you remember Tinkertoys? Yes, they're still around (a bit bigger and ALOT more expensive) and still fun. I'm not sure which of my boys enjoys them more, Tristan or Edgar.

Noah Versus the Hat

Why doesn't my baby want to wear hats? He is so cute in them.
Not happy.
Get it off.
The battle is on.

We have a winner!

Potty Training

We have finally convinced Tristan to TRY on his Cars underwear. It turns out that the battle to actually put on the underwear has been the hardest part. So far (knock on wood) he has been doing alright letting us know when he has to use the potty-we've got the routine down-at home. Now we just have to concur leaving the house in underwear.

Showing off the undies.
Potty training tools...

And a few mistakes along the way.
